Movin & Groovin
Stretch your body as you work out with aerobics, movement and strengthening exercises. This class brings music and dance
together with lyrical movements that allow for your individuality. The instructor will give individual attention to each student
concerning their physical condition.
Bowling
People of all ages bowl for fun and fitness. This is the perfect sport if you're interested in competition or just enjoying a
friendly game.
Exercise
Our exercise sessions include chair and standing, walking and moving patterns at a moderate pace.
Line Dancing
Join the craze, have fun, and learn the latest line dances. Taped music is used to warm up, learn steps and routines to popular
line dance tunes.
Tai Chi
This ancient oriental practice teaches you how to relax and to change the way you move, enabling you to better align your body and
be more "centered". Learn greater flexibility and poise as well. The movements are directly applicable to our daily lives.
Tap Dancing - Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced
Learn basic tap dancing techniques, steps and combinations and have fun while developing your coordination and rhythm. Includes
show tap and rhythm tap. Tap shoes or sturdy shoes with taps are required.
Walking
Walking is one of the best forms of exercise, and it's easy and safe for everyone. From spring through fall we walk in the
Wissahickon near Valley Green. During the winter months, we use the indoor track at Germantown Friends school.
Yoga
Learn how to breath efficiently, relax and strengthen your nervous system through this ancient form of physical fitness. You will
feel relaxed and energized after each session.
