CIP & GPUAC Partner to Raise Tax Awareness

Center in the Park (CIP) and the Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs Coalition (GPUAC) invite you to Raising Tax Awareness Day on March 18, 2010 at 1:00pm at Center in the Park in historic Vernon Park, 5818 Germantown Avenue, with parking available on the lot at Rittenhouse & McCallum Streets. The workshop is free but please contact the Program Office at CIP to register - 215-848-7722, ext. 225.

There will be a group presentation about how to best prepare for filing taxes - what to do and what not to do, and to get questions answered, followed by the opportunity to get personalized tax advice from a tax professional.

Membership at Center in the Park is open to adults, age 55+ and non-members may attend certain classes, trips and activities, as well. For an appointment with the Center Counselor or membership registrars, call 215-848-7722.
