ENJOY THE DOG DAYS OF AUGUST AT CENTER IN THE PARK

Center in the Park (CIP) invites you to join us by attending a special event, workshop or activity. Unless otherwise indicated, activities are free of charge but registration is required due to space limitations. Events will be held at Center in the Park in historic Vernon Park, 5818 Germantown Avenue, with parking available on the lot at Rittenhouse & McCallum Streets. Lowering Cholesterol Nutrition Workshop

First Friday at the Art Museum with CIP’s Program Director - $16.00 for adults, $14.00 for older adults, $12.00 for children (regular cost of admission).

Open Mic Night Hosted by CIP’s Poetry and Discussion Group $3 per person

Philadelphia Zoo Comes to CIP $5 for adults, $3 for children

Circus School comes to CIP $50.00 for adults and $40 for children

Free Jam Session with Monette Sudler Honesty

Membership at Center in the Park is free and open to adults, age 55+ - non-members may attend certain classes, trips and activities, as well. Center in the Park is a community center that promotes positive aging and fosters community connections for older adults in Northwest Philadelphia, whose voices are critical instruments in shaping its activities and direction. CIP is accredited by the National Institute of Senior Centers, a unit of the National Council on Aging as a provider of excellent programs, activities and services for its active membership of more than 5,000 and its 1,000 homebound clients.
