This month at Center In The Park...
What Can A Housing Counselor Do For Me?
Do you have questions about Subsidized Senior Housing and how to apply? Have you fallen behind on mortgage or property tax payments? Are you
having trouble figuring out how to stretch your monthly budget to cover all your bills? Do you need information about home maintenance and
repairs?
If you answered YES to any of those questions, CIP’s Housing Counselors may be able to help you with solutions to these and other
questions or concerns you may have about your current home, apartment, or living situation.
If you would like to make an appointment or just ask a few questions, please call 215-848-7722 and ask for Michelle (x315) or Bernadette (x223)
or contact us by email at info@centerinthepark.org.
These activities are made possible through funding from the City’s Office of Housing and Community Development.
Need Help At Home or Know Someone Who Does?
CIP’s In-Home Support Program (IHSP) provides short-term assistance and on-going basic support services for eligible consumers age 60 or over.
The In-Home Support Program provides a variety of one-time, temporary or on-going needs through a range of services that may include:
Home-delivered meals
Temporary homemaker service
House cleaning
Minor home repairs
Senior companions
Transportation to medical appointments
Advocacy
Funded by PCA, the IHSP provides early intervention and prevention services by utilizing available funds to enable Social Workers to act quickly
and creatively to address the needs of older adults. Services are generally brief in nature and goal oriented with the intent of helping an
older adult regain his or her independence. A social worker will visit your home to discuss your needs and then work with you to develop a plan
that best fits your personal abilities.
For more information call Center in the Park’s IHSP Intake Social Worker at 215-849-5100 X 306.
